Dubai Flights Cancelled As British Airline Collapses

British Airline Silverjet went into receivership on Sunday offering services from London Luton to Dubai and New York, the airline offered business only flights with Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft configured to 100 seats, Silverjet was set up to offer premium airline options following the retirement of Concorde, The Dubai route was launched to offer premium travellers a unrivalled service from London to Dubai, but with rise in fuel costs to $130 a barrell and a fleet of only 5 aircraft the airline could not continue trading it is beleived that around 10,000 passengers have been left stranded but other airlines are beleived to be honouring tickets.
