RERA the Dubai real estate regulatory agency is proposing to implement an index in order to control rising rents. Excessive rent rises are causing problems making renting in Dubai one of the worlds most expensive places and also fueling inflation within the emirate.

The agency will set a fair price tariff based on property and key location.
