Dubai Tram Development Gets Approval

Today the first Dubai tram project was approved by Sheikh Mohammad the 4billion dirham project will run along al Sufouh road and link some of the main real estate residential areas with the business and commercial districts.



The line will run from Burj al Arab Jumeriah beach, Mall of the Emirates and will connect with the Dubai Metro System And will cover a catchment area of 400,000 people.

The Development consortium consisting of the French Alstom, the Belgium Besix, the British Serco, and the American Parsons have received the contract to undertake the detailed design work, while the French Systra Co will act as RTA Consultant for the project.
