Dubai Gold Cup to be held on March 29th 2008 the World’s richest horse race with $6 million dollars price money around £3m going to the winner of the main race. The race will be held at Nad Al Sheba race course and the primary race will be part of a 7 race Card to be held on the day, total prize money for the day is expected to be around $21m around £11.5m.



The Dubai World Cup is a Thoroughbred horse race held annually since 1996 at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse in Dubai, United Arab Emirates The race was created by the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is a huge horse racing fan, the Sheikh having stables in the UK (Newmarket ) and Dubai with many Million of pounds of bloodstock on the register.
