Dubai Property Investments in the World Climate

Many times in the last few weeks we have been asked what will happen to the property market in Dubai will prices reduce following a successful cityscape show and recent announcement that $500 billion will spent on new projects over the next 10 years. General feeling within the Dubai real estate market is extremely positive, whilst agents don't think that 40% average gains of last year will be achievable certainly offers one of the strongest property places for investors. With problems with loss of investors funds in world’s banks Dubai Property investors still believe that bricks and mortar (property) is still the safest and most tangible investment available.

With the Dubai Government holding a cabinet meeting yesterday positive signs were given off by the Government that the emirate is cash rich so can ride the world’s economic problems.

Our indications despite the obvious distressed property sale and the fact the property mortgage and banking industry are being more prudent looking for a 10-15% increase in equity for borrowers from just a few months ago but this can be put down from lessons being learnt from overseas banks. The Dubai and Abu Dhabi property market is very strong and these indications are muted from our network of real estate agents that the market is strong and will remain so.
