Dubai Property market stakes its dominance at Cityscape

With the world's property and financial markets struggling, a nervous Dubai awaited the Property business to business show that was held for 4 days this week in Dubai. Property In Dubai grew by 40% on average last year with certain types of properties like Villas for example by nearly 80% would this continue many asked.



With a gasp of releif the cityscape show was a fantastic success with record numbers of visitors attended which called for the organisers to extend the opening times.



Traditionally in September the Real Estate market is slower as the middle east celebrates Ramadam which timed with the speed that the world markets have changed over this period no body knew when we came into October what that would mean to Dubai and the property industry.



Analysts believe that Dubai could be a save haven for world investors whilst it is felt that world effects will reduce the 40% growth figures experienced last year but with the shortage of completed properties and the fact that businesses are flocking to Dubai to take advantage of Tax benefits this will keep the demand strong. Of course Dubailand is under construction with Dubai Sports city being one of the first themes coming on line late 2009 and then other parts of Dubailand following, the demand for housing to support the many workers and tourists will remain high.
